We utilize scientifically proven methods of instruction to guide you in discovering and developing your best jiu-jitsu. Humans attune to their environment and self-organize their movement solutions to the best outcome for the individual. At HQ, we do not “drill” or rehearse movements. Instead, we utilize various task constraints to empower teammates to find their functional movement solution.  

Yoga

Yoga combines physical movement, breathing exercises, and stretches for a holistic approach to wellness. It enhances your flexibility, strength, and mental clarity through various styles that can suit everyone from beginners to seasoned yogis.

Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport where two participants wearing protective gloves throw punches at each other in a ring, aiming to score points or achieve a knockout. Through bag work, sparring, and drills, you'll get a full-body workout while learning self-defense.

MMA

Wrestling is a fighting sport that mixes ground control techniques such as grappling, throws, and pins. You'll build your strength and endurance whether you're a competitive or recreational athlete.

Is there a free trial?

Yes! HQ offers a 7 day free trial to anyone who's interested in the numerous classes we provide.

I'm new to martial arts. What can I expect?

We offer a safe and welcoming environment for new students exploring martial arts. Our diverse team of coaches is trained to support your goals, whether you're pursuing martial arts as a hobby, career, or fitness journey. Our coaches will guide you in developing your skills at a pace that suits you.

What measures does HQ take to maintain a clean and healthy environment for its members?

At HQ, we are committed to maintaining a clean and healthy environment for all members. We follow a strict cleaning schedule and use safe, effective products on all gym equipment. Additionally, Defense products are available on-site for members at no cost. We also encourage members to contribute to this effort by adhering to our cleaning and hygiene protocols.

At HQ, we are dedicated to fostering growth for all members, regardless of their experience level or background. Our mission is to help you achieve your personal goals. With our diverse expertise and talent, we can create a tailored plan to meet your objectives.

What should I wear?

Purchasing a gi or rash guard is not required to participate in our classes. We simply request that you wear a clean t-shirt along with shorts, sweatpants, or yoga pants. Additionally, we recommend that you remove any jewelry to avoid injury to yourself or your training partners.
